Can't call BushCo nazis, but Rumsfeld compares critics to appeasers pre WWII

Just the other night I was watching Bill Maher and one of his guests, columnist Christopher Hitchens, called on Max Cleland to renounce those who referred to BushCo as Nazis.
Okay. I can agree with that.
The Nazis were motivated by their ideology whereas Bush and cronies are motivated by money and power so that isn't a fair comparison.
Then today, I see in the news where Rumsfeld is comparing the critics of the war to those who sought to appease the Nazis before World War II.
It's really just another play on words using the same old tired crap where they accuse those who disagree with them of being unpatriotic and unamerican.
But, isn't it fair game now to use the Nazi lines? I think that's closer to the truth than that anybody is trying to appease terrorists. All the anti-war people are really saying is that if you have stuck your Johnson into a hornet's nest, maybe it would be a good idea to pull it out now, not just leave it there because it seemed like a good idea at the time.
Hopefully the American people have gotten smart enough to recognize what's happening, but probably not.
Stay the course, Freedom's on the march, etc, etc, etc. Let the talking points commence.
